Ron Edwards was a student of the great master artist Charles White. He honed his skills in anatomy and drawing,under his guidance and instruction.
Ron Edwards became a Commercial Artist working with the Hollywood Film Studios and Television world for decades.
His Clients included LucasFilm , Amblin’ Entertainment, The 1984 U.S. Olympics and ABC Television, among others. Ron has won numerous awards in that industry. These awards include an Emmy Award and 3 Cable Ace Awards.
In 1984,Ron Edwards moved back into the Fine Art World and began Paintings for Patrons and Collectors from among the fine art galleries in Hawaii, Los Angeles and Beverly Hills.
Ron Edwards Art work has been presented in the world famous ‘Juxtapoz’ magazine and other art publications over the years. In 1996-1997 Ron Edwards became Hawaii’s ‘Artist of the Year’. The Smithsonian Institute has Ron Edwards graphics in their permanent collection.
